I have cancer so I’ve been poked a lot. At the beginning of my appointment the man said this would be the quickest and most comfortable blood draw of my life. He did not lie. It was over before I even knew he had started.

I had been to various clinics and doctors prior to 2023, seeking desperately a competent specialist

who does not bruise all over and cause a lot of pain (these have my experiences with other

private clinics and also doctor surgeries). On two occasions the blood drawn

at doctors’ surgeries (paid for privately) could not be analysed by Laboratory (so incompetent was the person drawing blood.

DBT Blood Tests is the ONLY clinic I attend since 2023 for blood tests, this is *the* most

efficient bloods clinic I have found in Ireland.

The courteousness is outstanding, truly notable and the efficiency is second to none.

Blood draws (I needed many on each occasion I have attended) have been painless, requiring only seconds to complete, leaving absolutely not a mark on my arm. Whilst others who were incompetent stated that it was difficult to take blood from my arm. In fact, since attending DBT Blood Tests, not once has a Laboratory returned a failed

reading, requiring a second draw. I no longer attend GPs for bloods, nor do I consider attending any other clinic.

The hit-and-miss is too great and I am tired of having painful blood draws in Ireland.

I wish to thank all concerned at DBT Blood Tests Clinic for making this such a painless, gentle and kind experience.

Incredible service – same day appointment and result, very responsive communication. The experience was so seamless and pain free would highly recommend.

The doctor is nice, professional and incredibly good. Everywhere I went, in the last 2 years, I was told my veins are a problem, other places often go for the hand because how difficult is to find the vein in my arm. Here the doctor found the vein immediately and was totally painless. The results arrived after few hours same day. I couldn’t be happier

Great Service

I found DBT online while searching where I could get an insulin resistance test. I emailed them as I didn’t know how they would calculate the result. Noreen was very quick to reply and stated “It’s fasting insulin and fasting glucose test. HOMA-IR Assessment of Insulin Resistance, is a method used to evaluate insulin resistance calculating fasting blood glucose and insulin levels.”

That was exactly what I wanted to hear, so I was reassured that I was getting the proper insulin resistance test.

I traveled up from Waterford by bus, got the LUAS to Blackrock train station, and only a 25 minute walk to the surgery. The service was friendly, and I never felt the needle at all. I arrived 30 minutes early, and he was able to fit me in immediately.

I got the results within a couple of hours. I would definitely recommend DBT for it’s friendliness and efficiency, and I will definitely come again. 

I had a great experience with DBT. The service was excellent from start to finish. They responded very quickly with a quotation and had flexible appointment availability. The customer service was really good, and the person who took my blood in Clonee was extremely friendly, helpful, and highly skilled. I have small veins, but he managed to take the blood quickly and completely pain-free.

The results came back fast, were easy to understand, and I really appreciated that they also provided guidance if something required a doctor’s attention. I will definitely use DBT again and I highly recommend their services.

Would really recommend this clinic to anyone. The gentleman taking my blood was very kind and professional, and I didn’t feel a thing. Noreen was really helpful too organising an appointment last minute. Results come really fast too!

This is a fantastic service. I needed bloods checked urgently, and I was booked in the very next morning, seen on time and absolutely painless. Results were through 2 days later (advanced blood panel). Extremely pleasant experience!

Amazing Service – Highly Recommended!

I had such a great experience with DBT blood test clinic! I honestly expected it to take a while to hear back after emailing them, but to my surprise, they responded almost immediately. Their communication was super quick and clear.

They were also incredibly flexible with scheduling. I was even offered a same-day appointment, but I opted for the next day instead. When I arrived at the time I requested, they were already waiting for me. I didn’t have to wait even a minute!

They were extremely professional, and the procedure was done with zero pain. I barely felt a thing. On top of that, they promised to send me the results by 8 PM, but I actually received them much earlier, by 5:30 PM. That kind of reliability and punctuality is rare!

If you’re looking for fast, painless, and professional service, i 100% recommend this place. Truly excellent experience from start to finish!

I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. I was able to get an appointment on a Saturday, when most other clinics are closed. I booked in the morning, had my appointment and within a few hours the results were emailed to me. Parking for free also available just outside the clinic. The staff who took my blood was so lovely and friendly, I will definitely return again for private blood testing. Thank you!

I highly recommend this place! My daughter had some unpleasant experiences with blood tests, but here the entire process was completely painless. The staff was incredibly kind and made her feel comfortable. She walked out happy and even said that if she ever needs another blood test, she wants to come back here. A truly wonderful experience!

Best service for somebody that is in a hurry. And when you need medical tests you usually are in a hurry. We got the test results in 24 hours. Amazing. And we were in the situation in which we couldn’t get a doctor referral in time and made the appointment the evening before. Note that communication happens via e-mail. The response is fast, though.

Found this service excellent with results coming same day, only took 5 hours to get them.

I was given immediate appointment the doctor even kept his schedule clear so he could accommodate me. I highly recommend their services.

Best service I’ve ever experienced. I booked the test the night before and the manager responded to me immediately, adjusted where it would be closer and better to take the test and also answered all my related questions. The speed of response and quality of service.

Excellent service! Fast and accurate. The only place working on Saturday. I sent an email late at night on Friday, got the respond Saturday 8am, booked for 10:45am and received the results on the same day on Saturday.

Excellent service! I sent an email for appointment late at night on Friday and got the response 8am on Saturday morning before they open at 9am. I have booked for 10:45am the same day and received the results by 6pm the same day on Saturday. This is the only place working on Saturday. Highly recommend DBT- Blood test!

This is a fantastic service that I would highly recommend to everyone. I’ve had to get bloods monitored every week (traveling from further south in the country), and each time there has been a quick reply with an appointment time for either of the clinics in Clonee or Blackrock. The results are always back the same day as well! I would highly recommend this service to everyone and I will be continuing to use it myself in the future.

Top notch service from DBT! I have never had an appointment booked so promptly nor the results delivered to my email so fast. All my queries were answered within seconds. Literally sent an email at 6pm and got the reply immediately to all my questions and the appointment booked the next day. I couldn’;t recommend DBT more and will definitely go back when I need to do any blood tests.
